Woodland Friends Bedside Carafe

  

Inspired by long, autumnal country walks and the beautiful work of william morris, this intricately hand painted design is the culmination of many hours of work as can be seen in the detailed rendering of flower and fauna. It features a stag and hare on one side and an owl, badger and fox on the other, all surrounded by ivy, columbine, berries and deep red briar roses. The little glass which fits neatly in the top of the carafe when not in use, echoes the main design with a garland of ivy and strings of vermillion berries.

The carafe stands approximately 19cm high and holds a litre of water whilst the little glass measures just under 10cm and holds 230ml. Both pieces are made from sturdy soda lime glass. This item is made of soda lime glass and glass paint.
