Vintage studio pottery carafe / vintage studio pottery vase / stoneware decanter / vintage pottery water pitcher / vintage homeware / vintage barware. A lovely low glazed finished studio pottery carafe or decanter.

This beautiful hand thrown ceramic pottery carafe has rows of natural horizontal bands from the production process covering the entire body of the item, all in a lovely speckled earthy sandy / beige tone. The base of the vessel is unglazed and bears the potters mark.

This vessel would have traditionally been used as a carafe or decanter for alcoholic drinks or water, however due to its decorative nature could also be used as a stylish vase, a very versatile item. In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks and with only some minor imperfections from the production process, which we feel only adds to its vintage character (please see photographs).
