Vintage Fiesta (Fiestaware) CARAFE in Fiesta RED

  
The fiesta carafe represents the real essence of fiesta. This is on the'must have' list of all serious collectors. Such an iconic piece in the fiesta line.

Manufactured for only 10 years from 1936 to 1946, and only in the original 6 colors. The red was actually only manufactured for 7 years.

This is the desirable fiesta red in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, and a perfect heavy and shiny glaze which makes it look new. There is one issue with this one. Apparently the original owner did not like the tight fit of the cork stopper (which is normal) and made a bad decision to trim it back. You can see in the photo that only the part of the cork that is imbedded in the lid still remains. Otherwise such a stunning piece that appears never used, and certainly well cared for over the many years it shows wonderfully.
