Vintage DANSK Kobenstyle Carafe or Pitcher, in Blue with woven handle by Jens Quistgaard, Made in Denmark 1960s Vintage DANSK Kitchenware
Dansk pitcher, and in such great condition this enamelware pitcher with woven handle was designed by jens quistgaard between the late 1950's, early 1960's in denmark. Initially, dansk products were only made in denmark, but after 10 years the company moved production to france and then indonesia. Danish made dansk kitchenware is becoming extremely rare - this is definitely an item for a lover of all things dansk/mid century modern. The kobenstyle line was originally manufactured by danish supplier glud & marstrand, but, in 1966, dansk switched to a french supplier. The earlier danish-made pieces are marked with dansk's four ducks logo and becoming more and more sought after given their rarity the initials ihq are jens quistgaard's mark. No issues this jug is in great condition.
