Vintage Corning Silex Coffee Carafe 1950s MCM Glass Pitcher Mid Century Glass and Stainless Decanter with Bakelite Lid and Handle

  

This 9 inch pitcher holds 8 cups of liquid. This heat-proof glass was made by corning before they instituted the pyrex brand. This is "silex", which is not designed to be heated on a stove.

The stainless trim and bakelite features are iconic in mcm design. It will be a perfect addition to your vintage kitchen. This item is vintage, which means it is not new. I work hard to find collectible, used items in the best possible condition, but you should expect normal signs of wear and tear that reflect the item's age and previous use.
