Tall mauve Biot controlled bubbles carafe

  

Beautiful and majestic tall mauve biot carafe with controlled bubbles and round ball stopper. French biot glass makers were renowed for their bubbles glass effect, creating a distinct style in their pieces. This is a tall carafe, 38 cm tall. Highly controlled, the bubbles are beautiful, particularly in the long neck where they give the feel of bubbles in ocean waves. A hard to find model, few of their pieces were made in this light mauve color.

In certain lighting, the glass can appear light blue but it is powder mauve colour with blue undertones. In excellent condition, very well preserved over time. This item is made of glass.
