Early 1900's art deco mercury glass and chrome vacuum carafe. Patented june 1, 1909 by vacuum specialty company in meriden, connecticut, u. Under the trade name of hotakold. This wonderful antique carafe was used in hotels and restaurants to keep hot or cold beverages at adequate temperature for long periods of time. The carafe has a nice pastel yellow, as per the photos you can see there are few spots that the paint enamel is chipped off. Please note pictures are part of the description.
