Handcrafted product manufactured since the 40s, it is a product belonging to the moroccan know-how. Moreover, beldi products are ecological and responsible. Indeed, the entire beldi collection is made from recycled glass. Respecting the essential norms of recycling materials, reviving the employment of craftsmen with know-how, and publishing quality products, beldi glass revalorizes a traditional moroccan specification: handmade and mouth-blown glass. The manufacturing process of beldi glass consists of recycling two tons per day of flat glass and bottle glass waste, re-melted in a furnace heated to about 1600 degrees and maintained at temperature 24 hours a day.

The glass, blown by mouth, is cut by hand using oxygen and gas. The debris goes back to the fusion, while the glasses are placed in an annealing furnace for 3 hours. They are then washed and transported on a rail car to their storage place. Blown by mouth, you can see small air bubbles in the glass which characterizes the authenticity of the handcrafted work.

Identifiable among all, beldi glass is distinguished by its bluish color, its signature relief and its slight irregularities. This icon of moroccan craftsmanship is a must-have that almost disappeared. Mouth-blown, then molded, from locally recycled glass, according to an ancestral process, these glasses were originally intended to serve mainly tea.
