James sadler windsor coffee server, circa 1990s. In pristine condition, this is a very rare and elegant fruit motif of this type of pot. A previous owner did add the felt circles on the bottom to preserve the piece while it was in use as table decor. It handles well and pours well this piece has not been used, we cleaned and evaluated it most thoroughly.Bottom of the server has a capital stamped "w", inside of the lid has a lowercase stamped "h". As well as the backstamp, it also has the raised words "made in england" on the bottom. The ribbon backstamp was indicative of james sadler pieces, who developed a name for producing quality teapots since 1882.
Sadler pieces bearing the windsor emblem were produced in the 1990s for the co-op wholesale society of stoke-on-trent. This item is made of ceramic.
