Iconic Vintage Corsican CASANIS Hiball Glasses French Cafe Bar Chic

  
Issued as promotional material in the 50's 60's and 70's to bars and restaurants, throughout france, this iconic and rare casanis glasses are collectors items or a quirky gift for lovers of all things french. They are approx 12.5cms (5ins) tall and weigh approx 400g for the two unpackaged. Casinis is a corsican aperitif pastis/anisette drink flavoured with aniseed.

Popular since the 1950's and remains part of everyday life in the south of france, especially corsica. These carafes were served in bars and restaurants filled with water to mix with the pastis, turning it from a clear liquid to a milky colour. They are in very good used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Please be aware that our vintage items are preloved and not new.
