Original 1970s version of this iconic shaped decanter - a beautiful and sophisticated danish design - the stopper is a wonderful thing alone. Designed by danish by michael e bang for holmegaard in the 1960s.

Called the kluk kluk decanter, due to the four air channels through which the liquid passes as you pour, making a distinctive gurgling sound. This is the leaning drunk' edition. Who said modernists do not have a sense of humour.

In true modernist fashion bang was not in favour of surface decoration but instead, used the shape of the decanter to provide a dynamic effect. The glasses are from the canada range designed by per lutken for 1970s soirees - classic modernist shape. Lovely weight in your hand too. Decanter has signs of liquid but no chills or scratches.
