Heisey 517 Tumble Up Set with Cutting, 197 Tumbler, Bedside Carafe and Tumbler, Cut Etch Jug, Carafe Set

  

This listing is for a heisey #517 tumble up or bedside carafe with water #197 tumbler. Heisey first produce this bedside water carafe in 1917 and continued production for several years.

This wonderful crystal clear glass jug has a beautiful floral cutting around the base and around the neck. Between the two floral cutting is a geometric cutting of vertical and horizontal lines with spheres topping the vertical lines. It has an attached handle with no fractures at the attachments. This jug is blown glass with polished pontil in the base. The tumbler which fits inside the mouth of the jug is heisey's #197 with a starburst in the base and rig to keep the tumbler resting at the rim of the jug.

No cutting on the tumbler. The tumbler is pressed glass and shows the h in a diamond in the center of the starburst. No chips nicks or repairs excellent clarity no heavy signs of wear. Beautiful item to add to your collection or gift to that special someone. Carafe 5 diameter base, 3 diameter rim, 6 height.
