This is a hand thrown carafe with 6 cups, and the tray. The piece was made by jerzy (george) kokurewicz (1926-2018). He owned and ran garnki pottery with his wife in connecticut.

The studio closed around 2012. Each piece was hand thrown and colored which makes each one unique and slightly different.

The glazing used is food safe. It is a rusted orange color with blue and light grey. Each cup has indentions for the person to grip the cup. The signature of the studio name is shown with the rooster logo. There are no chips, cracks or scoffs. It is in an excellent vintage condition. This is truly an amazing work of art, and it would look lovely in any home that seeks something unique. The carafe is 10 inches tall. The tray is also 10 inches in diameter. Each up is around 2.5 inches deep, and 2.75 inches wide. Fun fact: jerzy was originally from poland. This item is made of ceramic and stone.
