French vintage pewter and glass art nouveau style wine / claret carafe with handle and lid. This is a very attractive carafe with art nouveau styling and a grape and leaves relief design.

There is multifaceted glass and beautiful relief work on the light silvered pewter, including the leaf knob for the lid. The carafe is stamped on the base of the neck, which can only be seen from looking through the glass. This would be a very stylish carafe on any table. There is one mark on the outside of the glass which is probably from storage. This is on the glass below the pouring lip.

Otherwise the carafe is in very good condition with some light marks of age and use. High: 10.8 / 27.5 cm. Spout to back of the handle: 5 / 13 cm.
