French saint louis crystal wine decanter / carafe with stopper and makers stamp circa 1930s. This is a stunning decanter / carafe by the iconic cristalleries of saint louis. The carafe has a matching bouchon and base with a geometric design that really catches the light. On the base is a saint louis stamp. The stamp i believe dates to before 1936. The compagnie des cristalleries de saint louis is a corporation, founded in 1586 in münzthal in lorraine. The majesty conferred the title of royal glassware of saint-louis to it. Fifteen years later, with the development of the manufacturing formula of crystal, the manufacture became the royal cristallerie of saint-louis. This carafe is in very good condition with some light signs of use inside the glass. There is one small spot which may be knock, or manufacturing mark, this is not very noticable but needs mentioning, and can be seen on photo 8. High: 8.5 / 21.5 cm to the top of stopper. Approx diameter at widest part: 4.7 / 12 cm. This item is made of french vintage saint louis crystal carafe.
