This silver plated over brass thermos which was designed by wolfgang von wersin is in excellent condition. No large scratches, dents or erosion. The double glass vacuum insides is also in great condition although we believe there may be staining from coffee or tea. The unique design of the handle allows it to stay open in two positions.

So it can easily pour and be filled. The top also screws off for cleaning or filling. This classic thermos was called the thermal lord'' jug, and designed for the german metal factory erhard & söhne in 1958. The carafe holds 0.75 l or just over 3 cups of liquid. Hot liquids stay hot for up to 12 hours and cold liquids for up to 24 hours.

It is recommended that it not be immersed in water. It measures: 8" tall x 5" wide (approximately). There is a rubber ring around the base so it will not slip or scratch surfaces. Wolfgang von wersin (1882-1976) was born in prague, which was then within the austro-hungarian empire and is now part of the czech republic.
