Dansk Carafe Decanter, Clear Glass, Teak Stopper, Designed by Gunner Cyren, 1980's,

  

A classic dansk piece, this clear glass decanter or carafe was designed by gunner cyren. With clean and simple lines, a swelling on the neck is made to fit the hand perfectly for pouring. The stopper is teak and its curves nicely compliment the flare of the neck at the rim. It is about 11 /78" tall with a rim that is 2 3/4" in diameter, and a base that is 5 1/2 across. It is marked only on the underside of the teak stopper with "denmark" i believe this is an early mark, as later stoppers are marked dansk international designs ltd.
