The patterns on the seyran jug were inspired by the patterns on the binding of the hafz divan manuscript, which dates back to 1581-1586 and was made during the safavid period. The manuscript is in the archive of the topkap palace library. In the original of the forest miniature on the seyran jug, real animals and mythological animals such as simurg, horse-dragon and dragon are also seen, as well as human depictions. Seyran jug is produced from handmade glass and all the patterns on it are decorated by hand using 24-carat gold gilding and glass paints. This item is made of glass.
