This beautiful french weighty hand blown wine/cider carafe dates from the 19th century. It has a simple yet almost sculptural design with its bulbous body and tapered neck.
A versatile piece to add a interest to any table. Equally as effective empty as in use for water /wine or indeed as a vase. It is in fabulous condition for its age with no chips merely some light surface scratches and slight clouding from its previous life.
There is a little residual marking to the inside but nothing that couldn't be removed. There are some bubbles present from the making process which only add to its interest and authenticity. Please note that this is a pre-owned item in antique condition and is likely to have been used.
