Antique Art Nouveau Copper and Brass Claret Jug marked 1900s

  
A stunning example of a prized wmf copper and brass art nouveau claret jug. Repoussé leaves decorate the body of the jug on both sides with engraved ovals going around the base.

A beautiful fluted spout and brass handle finish this jug in style. The wmf bird mark is clearly visible in the base. There is a character dent as shown (reflected in the price). Stands 14 tall and the base has 4 1/4 diameter.

Bought in aix en provence from a gentleman who was pouring wine from most dramatically to make the sale. This item is made of brass and copper.
