A beautiful carafe and six small glasses. Crystal is a type of glassware that has a much higher clarity due to an increased lead content. Despite the lead crystal is 100% food safe. Crystal is particularly suitable for cutting as the multitude of flat surfaces will reflect the light like a diamond. Older crystal can be slightly porous and is therefore not dishwasher safe.

A side effect of the slight porousness of crystal is also that it can stain permanently. If pieces have staining we will always clearly mention this.
