French Art Deco Crystal Carafe

  

A vintage crystal carafe with frosted glass scrolled motifs and gilded trim, french circa 1930s. Blown glass in classic amphora shape with a pedestal base and rimmed mouth. The body of the carafe has repeating etched scroll motif and is trimmed with thin gold bands. A ribbed glass stopper fits snuggly into the mouth and echoes the gold trim below. Very good vintage condition with a few tiny surface scuffs, appropriate for its age.
