A Vintage Pewter Jug

  

This wonderful pewter bottle was made by newburyport pewter towle. There is an interesting circled design on one of it's sides and it has a monogram on the other. The jug is 9 3/4"s tall, 18"s measured around the largest point and the mouth is 2 1/2s across. There is an indentation in the body of the jug and a small blister on the lid. This carafe is in fine condition.
